as someone who was a blues clues fan in the earliest years of my life this is awesome
i usually associate blues clues with the y2k aesthetic due to my experience with blues clues in a pre 9/11 world, but with this being made in 1995 it sorta has an old school pre spongebob era nickelodeon charm to it
it has that same feel of seeing what the anime community was like before the internet was a thing
heres my story with blues clues btw
i remember during my 3rd birthday in 2000 i had a birthday with lots of blues clues toys (this was based on the vhs i had which was the vhs version of the blues birthday video and that was the first time i saw blues clues)
after that i remember watching the rest of the blues clues episodes in 2003-2004 on treehouse (or bbc kids i dont remember) alongside classic simpsons on cbc and the comedy network, daigunder on family channel and teletubbies on bbc kids
and yes i do remember the episode where steve leaves for college i knew what a college was thanks to shows like undergrads but didn't know what it was called and when steve left it was the first piece of media that made me cry (alongside andy from toy story also going to college and even experienced this moment irl several times in my life)
by the time steve left and joe entered blues clues, i thought the show got stupid as i grew out of it and got into more anime like pokemon, beyblade, battle bdaman and eventually naruto and inuyasha, plus i found blue as a puppet kinda stupid because the episodes with steve felt like hanging out with a cooler older brother, cousin or babysitter with miranda reminding me of a cousin or babysitters girlfriend that would come over and hang out and play video games
while seeing blue as a sesame street puppet kinda felt childish (and again showed that i grew out of this show in favour of anime, also by then i already watched all the good episodes of spongebob and its movie and was just finishing up the good episodes of fairly odd parents before poof became a thing)
these days i have a soft spot for the muppets (thanks to fraggle rock airing on the hub network alongside mlp and alf and the old recordings of classic sesame street on old noggin back when it was a channel aimed at tweens during the y2k era)
still kinda creepy how its unfinished though (especially with things like the mailbox just being a stock image from a texture cd with a face plastered on it that turns into just a regular mailbox thats photoshopped purple when he gets the mail out or the unfinished version of the we just got a letter song without the piano and steve singing off sync)
It’s theorized the pilot was leaked as a result of the Nickelodeon data breach
I don’t know, I thought someone mentioned Nickelodeon only has the finished cut of the pilot? We only have a temp cut, so I don’t think that was the case.

This is not true. It was shared by a Nickelodeon employee and there was no data breach involved. Please do proper research before making such claims.
Do you have any source it was leaked by a Nickelodeon employee? And if so, why is the page locked and comments turned off?
the person who originally started posting clips said that it was sent to him by a Nick employee, people just liked to falsely claim that it was leaked, despite it being revealed before the data breach everyone points to even took place.
