I mean, we have the entire footage i'm pretty sure, and i know the pilot feels unfinished. Although I do agree with you that there's probably a more complete version of the pilot with more sfxs and voice lines somewhere, I don't think its worth finding at this point ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I mean, since paramount took it down, we might as well find the complete version at this point. I’d rather watch the finished version anyway, since that’s the one that’s supposed to be seen. The unfinished version is nice, but not when it’s the only one available.
So, as of the time im writing this, just a couple of minutes ago, the official pilot for Blue's Clues - titled "Blue Prints" - has been found in its entirety by Youtube user BowDown097.
Wanna let you know that the pilot feels unfinished as some sound effects and voicelines that should be in certain parts arent there. Although, with he information we have, it could still be the final product!
And with that out of the way, another pilot has been found! Man, 2023 has been the YEAR for lost media, hasn't it?
I almost forgot this happened. This has been an incredible year for lost media, hopefully we can find more like this. Pretty stupid that Paramount took it down so fast though.
Only just saw about this- and wow. Amazing that it was finally found after however many years of searching. Here's to hoping more lost media can soon be found.
EDIT: Taking a look at Nick Jr's tweet back from 2 years ago, it looks like there definitely is a more complete pilot somewhere, hearing the sound effects when it goes off of the show title.
So this is more partially lost than found, right?
Technically, but I wouldn't consider it so. It's like with AOSTH - we only have a temp cut of the pilot. A more finished version was produced (and is what Nickelodeon still has in their archives), but it is unlikely to be seen unless there was an official release, which realistically isn't gonna happen. So for all intents and purposes, mark it as found.

I guess it’s better than nothing, but my next post explains my opinion

But to be fair, if we do straight up mark it as found, then if the complete pilot gets leaked, it will be more likely to become lost, because people will be less likely to care about it. Sure, this temp cut of the pilot is pretty damn close, but it still technically qualifies as “partially lost”.

Def! The problem is it won’t get as much attention no matter what but if we say it’s fully found it won’t get anything

Yeah, that’s why I would rather keep it at “partially lost” so that if the complete pilot is ever leaked, it’s more likely to get attention, since that’s the version that’s supposed to be viewed anyway lol. The temp cut is nice, but not if it’s the only version available. I’d change it on the lost media wiki myself, but the problem is that they would probably undo my edit and revert it back to saying it’s “fully found” when it’s not.
I mean, I doubt Nickelodeon will ever release the pilot themselves, but what’s stopping some employee from going inside the archives, and leaking the more complete pilot? It’s not impossible.
