Wow, had a look through the list and saw a few of my favourite shows in there... Not surprising considering how long that list is, though. I guess if the copyright holders got involved, some of that stuff could be saved. But I would imagine they've already been contacted about that. I'm guessing some of the content that will be lost is already available through behind-the-scenes footage, interviews and in artbooks, but going through every series on the list to figure that out would probably take weeks.
anime is not just iconic to japan its ingrained into world society to the point where kids now a days probably know who naruto and goku is but not bugs bunny or kermit the frog
jokes aside we need our friends across the pond to get at it
heres what they can do
they should start renting uhauls (or cars), drive to the soon to be vacant studio/lab after they throw the animes out, then load the truck with the master copies (do this everyday until the studio is shuttered and every master tape/film is safe) then send them out to kineco video or someone like that to rip it
