At this point it feels like I have heard every single interesting lost media case and most of them have hit dead ends. I am not that interested in nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney, ext lost media. I found that I like more uncanny valley lost media and stuff that is not intended to be creepy but ended up being horrifying such as pink morning cartoon, hitogata, Everyone knows that (ulterior motives), ect. If there are any lesser known lost media cases like these ones that haven’t been covered to death already please comment them. I really want new ones that haven’t hit a dead end 20 years ago.
Disclaimer: I don’t mean to be mean with this post, sorry if this offends anyone in anyway! And this is not talking about the entire community as a whole. And no offense if you like any nick, Cartoon Network, ect lost media!! I just want some new lost media cases.

I can think of more lost media that's not from those networks. Right now i'm interested in finding episodes of an old USA Network show called "Sanchez of Bel Air" which was one of the very first TV shows to have a majority Latino cast.
I'm on the hunt for a ton of retro TV that is largely forgotten. I've completed a few but have over 20 left that are incomplete. I only need one more episode to complete one of them, which is annoying. There's so much stuff out there not from those networks to find.

Which one are you looking to complete? I'm trying to complete Romeo right now.

Are you into lost film media? There are deleted scenes for the land before time. Over 13 minutes of fully animated scenes were cut for being “too scary” for kids, and it’s largely believed the scenes were either lost or destroyed. There are many Animation Cels from these scenes that do exist online, as well as 12 seconds of footage that survived by being featured in the trailers.
I personally believe the footage may still exist somewhere, and a youtuber by the name of mr. coat made a video on it about a year ago, explaining what he believes to be the logical outcome for the search (I think it’s pretty logical).
Not to toot my own horn, but I also made a thread for it, if you’re interested in checking that out. Hope this helped. I do have a few more searches I know of, but this is my personal favorite one, and actually introduced me to lost media back in July 2020.

To name a few and my current progress
Accidental Family - 8 of 16
Hawk - 14 of 17
He & She - 25 of 26
The Second Hundred Years - 21 of 26
And literally dozens more. Some of which are close to completion, some are very far away. All of which have likely never been aired since the original airings or at least in many years. These aren't well known shows or well remembered shows, some of them weren't even good shows and got cancelled because they sucked.

Hmmm interesting, i'm on a private tracker called TV Vault which has a bunch of rare TV shows, you actually have more episodes of Accidental Family then that site does, though it looks like they have all 17 episodes of Hawk, which episodes are you missing currently? I should be able to get you the remaining ones.
I've been looking for the Japanese TV program Za Gaman for a while now, and have yet to find one single videotape of it that anyone has. A friend of mine referred to it as a "unicorn" in the Japanese game show tape circle.
I think there's kinda a general fatigue towards lost media right now. Even I haven't been too involved in many searches.
I'm still interested in lost media but haven't joined too many searches myself as they are for pieces of lost media I don't care about.
When I first joined, the prospect of finding something was pretty fun. I love conducting investigations, even if its for something I'm not wholly interested in. That being said, I think there's just am imbalance of people wanting help opposed to offering help. When people act like their search is the most important thing ever, and it's something minor on top of it, that can be offputting. We're a community which means we should all contribute in some form. That's when lost media is fun, it's when you work with others to find something together. Some people come here and demand their thing be found like that's all we do. It's irritating tbh.

I thought that was actually what we all did. I feel like an idiot now.
To be fair, I’m too scared to contact people, so I guess that’s an explanation. Sorry about writing that type of post for my thread. If it’s important, I have no problem looking for leads, but contacting is where I chicken out.
I’d love your input, as I’m trying to drum up attention about my favorite search (I don’t think I need to say what it is, my pfp is a blatant giveaway).

I wasn't trying to single anyone out. But honestly it isn't all about contacting, there are other means to contribute to a search.

Oh phew. To be fair, I guess some people just don’t know how to go about actually leading a search (like me), because as Ziggy cashmere said “Those attempts can, at first, seem quite harrowing”.
As far as I know, there aren’t many searches for lost film media on here, so there’s that.
I have no problem with looking for leads in searches, or more information. I’m just skeptical as to wether it’s okay to just dump someone’s contact info online in a thread, even though they already have it online for people to reach out to them. I guess it’s just paranoia or something.
