I'm trying to find a flash game I played as a kid. It was a point and click game, probably on kongregate.com, late 2000s to early 2010s. I want to say it was Scandinavian or at least European.
You played as an ugly loser humanoid frog who lived with his mum. His mum wouldn't talk and would just drool a little bit if you tried talking to her. The story was about solving a crime or investigating a mystery or something. The frog had a dodgy friend who ran a shop of some kind. There were quick time events which were presented in a very self aware jokey fashion. I think the first time they happened you had to dodge getting shot several times, and the last bullet you dodge hits the dodgy friend instead.
There was also a police station you visit, and the cop is a humanoid pig. I remember the police station had some weird music. The game was unfinished and ended with the main character getting closer to solving the mystery, then coming home and finding his mum's severed head on the kitchen table. There was a dramatic music cue, and the camera zoomed in on her head and some drool came out of her mouth.
Like I said, the game was unfinished and I'm pretty sure it had DEMO in the name.
