Found by nottoptext ! THANK YOU SO MUCH! One of my childhood mysteries has been solved! I still have quite a few apps that I haven't been able to find from my childhood that I'm going to post about on here, but for now I'm just glad to finally have this game! Pure Vessel has been informed about the find and hopefully they'll be happy too.
I posted a couple of times in the Tip of my Joystick subreddit but I got no results (except from somebody who added their own additions). I'll just repost what I and they said (they are _Pure_Vessel_)
From me:
"I remember playing this game when I was a kid in the 2010's (It can't be more than 2014 or 2013). it was on a Ipad one and I remember downloading it from the app store. It was 2d from what I remember. It was a pet sim with battle elements. I think the name was something like "My Dragon" Or "My Little Dragon" (note that the game has nothing to do with MLP, and the art style is different)
The game begins where you are given a letter and are taken to the dragon world. You feed your dragon friend, and depending on what it eats, it's color changes. I remember there was a feature where you scanned bar codes and got food from it (I never used that feature). There was also a option to send feedback too. This part of the game had the dragon near some kind of stable? The graphics were semi low budget, but the dragons were semi-realistic with flat colors.
The part I remember more vividly was the fighting mode. You used the gyroscope to fight dragons. This mode was top down. You could see the what was below you, while the dragon and the other dragons you had to fight via hitting them with fire, while you avoided being hit yourself. I don't remember the WHOLE story (it was so long ago) but I do remember that you had to defeat the leaders of each element (stuff like air, fire, water, etc) The other dragons hated humans, and wanted to kill you because of it. The backgrounds were themed after the elements. For example the air dragons' background was on the clouds. There were multiple stages for each element, where you fought regular dragons. The last part of each element would have you fighting the main leader of those dragons. A thing to note is you could retry at any time if you failed, you'd just get booted to the main pet section every time you die, so you can try again.
I never actually finished the story mode since I got frustrated that I kept dying. So sadly I don't know how it ends. If anybody knows what this game is, I will be so thankful!"

"i joined this sub to find the name of this exact game too!
extra details about the game:
there were a lot of elements like dark, light, lightning, water, fire, earth, wind?? i know 100% that fire, dark and light were real elements because i would feed my dragon that foods
there were attacks that spawned in effects, like one of them spawned in barbed wire rings (most op attack tbh)
there were "webs" for attacks depending on your dragons element
it was also on android play store, that's how i found it
if i recall correctly, the dragon is allied with a wizard in the story mode? and there was even a pvp format of the game where you can find other people nearby with bluetooth (i remember this because i used to play it with my sibling)
the qr code reader mostly gave food for the dragon, but it did know exactly what you scanned (for example if i scanned a specific disc case, it would say so). the dragon in the stable sat with its front arms crossed and it faced straight forward with its wings out
i haven't been able to locate ANYTHING about this game with my frantic youtube searches of "pet dragon game" or "my pet dragon app". i think its because the name was generic and the app was rather niche, but the memory of this game haunts me because i loved it and wanna see what happened to it"
PLEASE if anybody has any clue what this game is, let me know.
ALSO, you only raised the one dragon. Games like Dragonvale or Dragon City are not the style this game had!
