When I was in elementary school we did these test everyone and a while called “I-ready” For the older grades, it was kinda boring. The younger grades had this special one were the host would be an owl named “Alec trebeak” and a bat special guest. The older grade test did not have Alec or the bat and instead let you play a mini game once in a while. The games I remember are a ping pong game but instead of generic ping pong it was wizard themed, and a digging game were you would dig for a treasure and avoid pot holes. I can’t find any videos or images of these games online but I know for a fact they exist. Does anyone know were you can find these games online?
It includes the two games you mentioned in your post, plus several more that I would assume were on the i-Ready site at the time.
I couldn't find anything about the owl or bat characters at all. No amount of Googling thus far has brought even a hint of the characters existing. All I can find are the current characters that the site is using for their younger curriculums, and it's as if the characters you described never existed in the first place. I'll keep doing a little more digging on them and see what I can come up with, but the main thing - the games - are found, at least. And I plan to, when I have more time to do so, to grab them from the Redditt links and upload them to Internet Archive since they're not on there right now.
**UPDATE** So, no luck in extracting/downloading the files from the links in the Reddit post. I cannot find an actual file through any of the links that seem to actually be the games, and can only find HTM files downloadable that don't work offline at all, either through any flash player I've tried, or by trying to reopen the files through any web browser.
However, I did find that one of the games, Dig Site, is on Flashpoint, along with several other games, but most of the games linked in the Reddit post, including Wizard Pinball, are not on Flashpoint right now. I have contacted the team at Flashpoint and asked them about being able to extract the files and adding them to Flashpoint themselves, since like I've already mentioned, I have no clue how to at this point. I just sent the email as of this update, so we'll see how fast the guys over at Flashpoint get back to me, if they do at all, and if they do end up archiving the games themselves.
