I also use the Kanzenshuu forum. The Audiovisual Identity Database did have its own forum which I also used, but that's currently inactive.
Happy to see Kanzenshuu, an individual forum, still surviving! I don't like EVERYTHING being consolidated into subreddits, as convenient as that is to use.
Sometimes I go on the deviantART forums, but there's a lot of drama
How active are the DA forums now? I had an account but never posted anything personally.
Sometimes, I wonder with all of the "issues" and "controversies" going on the "main" social media sites if random forums like those of individual sites could make a comeback. The Pandemic I know made a number of people nostalgic for the "older" internet and forums are a part of it!
I haven't been too active on it lately, but I guess it's a fair amount of people who seem to know each other one way or another

DA has forums? i've been on there for years and never knew that.

Don't worry, I spent a fair bit of time back in the day on DA and had no idea that there were forums either XD
I go on the Newgrounds forums a LOT. Mostly the video games and art forums. They're still very active!
That makes me really happy to hear! Newgrounds was one of the KEY defining "cultural sites" of the 2000s-there just wasn't anything LIKE it then and it left such an impact on the internet as a whole IMO. It was just such a diverse, creative playground for all sorts of ideas.

And the awesome thing is, it's still a diverse and creative playground for all sorts of ideas! There's still heaps of events, collabs and contests happening there right now, it gives me and other artists so many different oppurtunitites! It's really amazing that NG is still alive and kicking after all these years.

I could see sites like that becoming more "notable" again, considering all the simultaneous craziness and blandness going down with regular social media sites ^_^ I saw an interview with the site creator a few months ago (?) and he seemed to be super cool too.
I joined a forum for an obscure anime a while back (yes, one of those "single show forums") on one of the few surviving fansites (IE still updated decently regularly) for said anime, but haven't used it much because it's basically dead sadly. Maybe I'll try to revive it or something.
