I'm looking for some help to find something, that nobody but me seems to remember. It was an animated movie that was shown on T.V around Christmas a couple years back. All of the colors except for red were extremely muted, to the point were they were almost grey, and everything else like the skins of people were bleach white. I dont remember a lot of what the story was, but i do remember the beginning and the end. The movie started with a deer being captured and put into a small cage, and then being brought to a store. there was a lot of deer cages there, and they were stacked up to the ceiling on top of each other. A dad shows up and purchases one of the deers for his daughter for Christmas. I dont remember exactly if the daughter was there or not with him, but i think she might've chosen which deer she wanted. after that is fairly vague and i dont remember much other then the daughter mistreating the deer a lot, and the dad ignoring both her and what she was doing. the films ending is probably why this suck with me, as the dad is severely injured and the deer turned out to be some kind of woodland spirit. The climax comes when the little girl chases the deer-sprit thingy into the woods, which was all colored normally compared to the rest of the film, and the little girl attempts to pet/hug the deer. the deer rejects her, and the little girl cry's. I think it might've ended with the girl returning to her father, but i'm not entirely sure.
I haven't been able to find anything so far by myself and i dont remember what it was called, so i would appreciate any help anyone has to offer. Thank you for your time.
