Hi, LMWiki. I have something that might be of interest to you. The following paragraph was originally posted to both r/NorthCarolina and r/lostmedia, but because Reddit sucks, it was deleted twice. Hope this place can help.
About a year ago, I was staying with my family at my Grandpa's house in the Outer Banks. One day, everyone else had gone shopping, and I was home alone. I went to the bathroom, and in the corner of my eye, I spotted something playing on the TV that was still on. I didn't think anything of it, so I did my business and went back to my room. About half-an-hour to an hour later, I stepped out of my room, and again, I saw the same thing playing from the corner of my eye. I went to check it out, and it was some YouTube ad that had about half-an-hour left. Keep in mind, I saw the same ad an hour ago, so it was presumably way longer. The ad showed some sort of animated Victorian room, with spooky piano music. Also, there seemed to be a boom mic hanging from the top of the screen. Occasionally, something would happen, like something's reflection moving across the cabinet windows, or the lights suddenly cutting out. I tried to find out more about the ad, but because I'm not all that familiar with YouTube for TV, I accidentally skipped it, and I couldn't find it again. Apparently, my brother also saw this weird ad, and he similarly had no idea about it. I was wondering if anyone in or around the OBX area saw this ad and knows what it's about.
And that's pretty much it. Not sure if anyone here lives in the Outer Banks or anywhere adjacent to it, but if you do, have you seen this ad, and do you know what it's about?
Thanks for the suggestion, but nothing about BE seems to correlate to what I saw.
Well, this could be from a strange set of ads that were SOMEHOW approved for YT, Hulu, and Twitch, that all had cuts to static, odd settings, and... strange scenes... originally seen during 2020, they could've made a second set of ads. but they weren't this long. Best Wishes!
