Last week I was at an event where there was a reenactment of when Scottish settlers came to Ulster in Ireland in the 1600s. There was some flfe and drummers playing a tune as they marched along. I was only able to capture 18 seconds of audio from it using my camera as it was raining and while I was trying to follow them, I was at the wrong side of the road and they were marching away from where I was walking, so the audio is far from the best. Since I heard the tune, it has been bugging me to what it could be as I am sure I have heard the melody before but I cannot put my finger on what it is. From this MP3, would anyone have an idea as to what it could be? I did wonder if it was a tune from the 1600s and possibly Scottish since this was a 1600s reenactment but I have searched many Scottish folk tunes and not found it yet.
