Hi, when I was a kid, some of my favourite flash games were on the websites for Brownies and Guides (the uk equivilants to the girl scouts for those across the pond). In particular, the game Caterpillar Climbing Caper, a puzzle platformer.
I don't know of a flash game archive that contains them as the games seem to have been taken down before the announcement of Flash's end (the most recent archive of the webpage that contains the brownie games is from 2016, and the only archive of the guide game page that isn't blocked is from 2008. All snapshots of the guide page after that are a blank page with "directory listing denied".) I remember there being other games that aren't listed, particularly the guiding page because snapshots were blocked before all the games were posted to the websites.
I have checked the internet archive for a copy of the flash games and they don't appear to be there. Any tips on where to look to find a copy of these games would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.
hello! i am also in search of these games! i spoke to the archivist team at girlguiding and they confirmed they dont have the game files. i'm now contacting them to see if i can find out who developed / worked on the games and im gonna try going to them directly.
some of the games are accessible by the wayback machine but the majority are lost
