I don't remember much about this book but I'll do my best to explain it.
Years ago I had a book which I think was a book released in the UK.
I think the book had a beige coloured front and back cover with something on the front cover, like a drawing but I don't know what it was.
The book was a puzzle book. It had a series of puzzles in it and if you solved the puzzles, you could win a prize if you sent the answer in to somewhere by a certain date. Possibly a cash prize of British £.
The puzzles were not like crosswords or word searches but something else but I am not sure what.
I think the puzzles related to or were based around ancient Egypt, like hieroglyphics had something to do with them but I don't fully remember. I think I got this book in the late 90s or in the 2000s sometime. I am leaning towards the 2000s.
Anyone know what this book might be? I lost my copy years ago and have been trying to remember what it was ever since.
Was it one of those books where you see a big picture and have to search for a certain number of objects inside? Because I recall seeing one of those that sounds like what you're describing.
He cut his trail of tears across the countryside And where he went, women wept and men died One night he woke from a vision of his own death Saddled his pony and rode her deep into the West

I don't really remember. While I wouldn't rule that out, that doesn't seem familiar to me though. I do know the book had multiple pages in it, how may I couldn't say, but I think the clues you had to get might have been written like the clues you get in treasure hunts, but again, I could be wrong.
