I feel like this is definitely going to be another year of your choices being a douche or a turd sandwich. God willing we won't get another pandemic this time.
That South Park episode was so fucking stupid, anyone seriously acting like both choices during the last few elections were just as bad as each other is either not paying attention or willfully ignorant, Biden has done a lot of good and i'm goddamn proud to have voted for him.

A lot of people didn't like Clinton or Biden either one but at the end of the day voted for them because no body who didn't have their head up their ass wanted Trump. Biden has done far better then anything Trump has done and probably would do better then Clinton would have, however I feel like we can do better then Biden in the next election.
The problem in the states is that the political system is quite literally binary. It's one team or the other and that has made politics more into a sport than a due process that keeps a nation working the way it should. Here in Canada, for instance, we still have a major liberal and conservative party, but you will also get seats every election from third parties representing a far more diverse variety of viewpoints. I'm particularly fond of our far left (ish) party, the NDP, which often wins a number of seats every election and keeps the more moderate leftists in check. It's the same across large swathes of Europe, too.
inb4 I get harangued by a bunch of Americans about how I'm "throwing my vote away" or some shit
i wish we had a system like that in the US but it's just never gonna happen, you may not be throwing your vote away if you vote third-party in CA but you definitely are if you're a US citizen and you vote third-party, Ralph Nader is one of the main reasons Gore lost in 2000 so understandably there's a lot of resentment towards third parties here as they don't accomplish much.
And that sort of mindset just reinforces the political binary and intensifies the vicious cycle that prevents the system from ever improving at all. It's really sad.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."

Oh i'm sure we can do better, I just roll my eyes anytime I see anyone acting like both sides are equally as bad as one another.

It's not a mindset it's just being realistic, I just can't envision third-parties ever catching on here(at least not for a very very long time), Walter Mondale was the closest they ever got to being viable here and that didn't exactly go well.

All the stuff I can find on him says he never ran as a third party.

I don't like politicians in general. I feel like elections end up me picking the candidate I hate the least.

As an American, our society is absolutely in a disastrous state, so what you've said is 100% true.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime
Yeah, it is sad that barely any other political party has made a dent in American politics in like the past 40 years. I get sick of watching everyone I know vote AGAINST someone rather than for someone IE they only vote for their party's candidate because they don't want the OTHER party's candidate to win, not that they actually like their own candidate. I wish we had more political parties jostling for spots as they do in other countries!

So Biden stepped down and Kamala’s now running. I don’t know shit about politics, sorry for taking a fewish days. Like I don’t even know who to support. All I know is my dad’s supporting Harris due to always hearing him talking shit about Donnie for anything he sees of him. He even unironically called Biden "Sleepy Joe" on Thanksgiving in a non- insulting way (literal degeneracy), just to say he supported him.
I was gonna make another post on the two, but I can’t think of or find anything to clown her with (I don’t think it’s fair to just do Trump). Although I might have to go down to actual political TikToks (the major news ones really only brings stuff about Trump to joke on).
Oh, the shitty humanity! Are you stalking my profile without following me AGAIN?!
