Anyways, I can’t really look for searches for myself, since I don’t have enough time, but I will share this photo from the credits for the lead animators. These are our leads for now.
Update: found the email address for Jean morels (I assume to be) wife, Lois Morel. I don’t think Jean has his own, but this will do, whoever contacts her will just have to specify the email is for Jean.
Jean also animated on rock-a-doodle, and he’s the one who recorded the skunk pie scene off his phone, so maybe he might still have the copy he recorded off of? I’d love to see that early cut too, in addition to these deleted scenes. If he doesn’t have the footage for the land before time’s cut scenes, some more production materials would also be nice, like Cels.

Sorry for the late reply, but yes, that’s the guy. I’m hoping he at least has some animation cels to offer, and maybe that cut footage from rock-a-doodle he recorded off his phone in actual studio quality.
Also, the link doesn’t work for me. I don’t have an account on LinkedIn, so that could be why. If possible, could you try finding John Pomeroy and Dan kuenster’s emails? I tried to find them myself, but came back empty handed.

Well, I was just scrolling through the gang of five forums, and I stumbled across this post, in which a user claims to have found some inter-office memos dated May 2, 1986, giving criticism on the very first script draft of the film. There is likely more to it, but these are the first 2 pages (I don’t know where it was originally sourced from, I just got them from a forum on the gang of five forums).
Credits go to the gang of five forum user ‘Sneak’, and the original thread I found them is called “Early Inter-office memo from 1986”. This is also the very memo that convinced Spielberg to have the dinosaurs talk. Oh, and apparently Petrie was supposed to be named “Pteri” (likely pronounced as “terry”).

This search is doomed! I can’t even find any other animation communities. But I can’t let it die! It’s too important. Just keep looking, I’m sure I’ll find something, I’m totally not having a mental breakdown and/or panic right now, I ensure anyone who for whatever reason reads this…….

You’re right, but the problem is that people have made posts on it in the past, and they usually never gained much traction. I don’t think Reddit would be a very good place to gain traction to a search.
