This is a piece of media that I have extremely little information about, not least because I don't think that I ever saw it myself.
I have been told by a family member that they used to have a children's book that was titled "Bobo had a Bun", with the titular "Bobo" being a gorilla. I was possibly told some details about the book's plot, but I do not remember them. The book was possibly old. The family member tried to find the book for me multiple times, but it did not turn up; the family member believes that the book was either misplaced or was lent to one of my cousins, who then lost it.
The title of "Bobo had a Bun" does not appear to turn up any online results that relate to a book. The only information that I have found that has a small chance of being useful is that there was a real-life gorilla named "Bobo" (1951-1968) who lived in a zoo in the United States. It is perhaps not impossible that the book in question was based on this gorilla.
If anyone here has any suggestions about how I could find this book, that would be greatly appreciated.
If you Google "Find Old Kid's Books", there are a ton of websites that come up where you can enter in dates, keywords, etc. I've had mixed success with such sites.
