Here's what happened to the best of my knowledge of what went on last night.
Me and a few LMW friends were on a Discord server, just talking away, when we noticed a banned member of our community had went live on Youtube. This member incited particular ridicule among most everyone on the site, and especially us. We went onto the livestream, and that's when everything started to fall apart.
Some of the users started spamming the chat, while I politely told the livestreamer to stop being bitter towards the LMW. Already things were getting intense, but it all went on a downward spiral when the livestreamer decided to livestream a Google Hangout to make things more interesting while they went away.
The first person to join started spewing out memes and such, and I will admit it was interesting in a sad way to watch this person's livestream fall apart.
Now, here's the part of the story where things are slightly stretched. Just after the first user joined, another similar memes user joined, and both were messing with the stream.
This is where I come in.
About 3 minutes after they come in, I give into my temptation and join the Hangout. I started mocking the streamer, and spewing hateful language. It was wrong, and I recognize that now, but I was so euphoric that I didn't notice the damage that I was doing to myself. Last but not least, another more mellow user joined the stream, and it was chaos with everyone there. It went on like this for over half an hour. Eventually, everyone disconnected, the official Discord got notified, and we were ratted out one by one.
I'm sorry for this. I feel guilty. The best I can do now is post this, and help the reconstruction effort.
I've tried to save face for most of this post so no one gets offended, but I have to say this as my final point: kablamoid did nothing wrong.
Expect future posts on this topic going more into depth.
