Recently, An interview with Miyamoto was found in a magazine from around 1989. It stated that they finished working on Zelda 3, but couldn't ship out the cartridges because the factory couldn't take them and they had to wait a year to do it. It was said that Zelda 3 had a party with 3 members, which was link, a bow-welding person, and a fairy. It played more like a final fantasy game according to Miyamoto. I don't know if this is real or fake, but I'm sure we will find out.
I'm not super knowledgeable on early Zelda stuff but I'm pretty sure the whole Famicom Zelda 3 thing has been a hoax time and time again.
Plus I'm assuming some of that could easily be A Link to the Past beta talk that was misinterpreted as Zelda 3 Famicom.
Maybe someone with a stronger background in Zelda could be of more insight though, since maybe one look at the title of this thread could make someone else say "fake" right away.
I wonder, i got a custom arvade machine with 5000 plus games on it from nes till the wii ware games. Theres also pokemon minis, snes satelliview, n64 dd, and finally prototypes. I wonder if this gsme is on it.

Nintendo might of had to delete/change content on the Rom to make room for the Zelda lttp early prototype. Remember these expensive chip where purposely re-programmable. Why store it when you could re program codes and extra "to make it better". While I hope this will come out, I doubt it. Nintendo has a running theme in there beta and dev carts. Though star fox 2 is a miracle among gods, it will take the triforce to have this be found or stolen from nintendo.
Btw this is how I first hurd of the game, I suggest reading it.
