Basically early 06/07 was the first time we played it and my family always used to have it playing it's quite UK based so I'll explain best I can
It had an interface that was basically a television with a few channels
The 'Channels' were real British quiz shows including the original hosts etc but adapted purely to be played at home
The ones I remember
Deal or no deal:- was Noel Edmonds fronted it was all real footage until the box was opened and at which point it was a graphic of whatever was in the box slapped on an empty box. When it was the banker's offer part Noel specifically wouldn't say the value being offered it would simply appear on the screen. "you're playing a shrewed game" would be uttered almost constantly
Countdown: same applies real footage but the numbers/ connundrums/ letters where all graphics on an empty board
others done in the same way iirc are catchphrase , who wants to be a millionaire and maybe a couple others
Could it be something like CBBC games? I think they started hosting flash games around that time. There were a few different TV channels that did that on their websites, though.
