If you don’t know what Fireman Sam is, it’s a British children’s show that first aired in 1987. The show features a fireman named Sam (which is what the title states) and his incompetent co-workers. The show is (or at least was) set in Wales and had 4 seasons from 1987-1994. The show was brought back in 2003 with a fifth season and I kinda think this better than the first 4 seasons! The animation is the best I’ve seen in a show like this, but the show was brought again in 2008 with a shitty CGI reboot. There exists a lost Gailec dub of this show and there’s not that much content of it, there only exists the intro, the credits and some episode titles. There was a clip that was uploaded to YouTube some time, but it probably got deleted.
Here is the intro & credits:

I think the WFLD would be the better place to post this.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."
UPDATE: I went to the Lost Dubbing page again and found the name of the narrator, Tormod Mac'illeathain. However, what I didn’t know was that he died at he age of 80 in August of 2017

Still no leads to finding more episodes. However, the person who uploaded the intro and credits has an email in his description. We could contact the person if he still has the episodes.
Hey there. I know I'm a little late to the party but whatever. This looks really interesting! I've contacted the owner of the YT video and am waiting for a response. Have you thought about using the Wayback Machine to find the Alba page on the BBC iPlayer (it's the Scottish branch of the BBC, I think)? It's possible the dub could have been there at one point. Also, I've been trying to find the contact information of some of the crew. I haven't found anything yet, but I'll keep looking.

I used Google Translate to find out the Gailec name of Fireman Sam (Fear-smàlaidh Sam), and googled it. I managed to find this on Digiguide : digiguide.tv/programme/Childrens/Sam-Smalaidh-Fireman-Sam-/85612/season-1/ I tried using the Wayback Machine to see if I could find any more information on the site, but no luck.

That’s the episode titles I was talking about! No luck for me aswell.
I've made progress! I asked on a Gaelic subreddit if anybody had heard of the dub or had any recollections of it, and somebody suggested that I search on the Scottish Screen Archive. I found their contact information and asked if they had information about the dub. I got a response this afternoon: The dub isn't lost, there are 32 episodes in the BBC Scotland archives. They aired between 1989 and 2002. The dub didn't air on BBC Alba, as the channel wasn't established until 2008. Instead, BBC Scotland had a Gàidhlig hour in the morning to broadcast Cbeebies shows, including Gaelic dubs of Fireman Sam, Noddy and other popular programmes (This specific information comes from the Reddit post: I checked it again and someone else had replied).
I've asked if there's any way the dub could be released publicly, but I haven't received a response yet.
Edit: On the Youtube video, somebody commented that they saw the dub being aired at 6:45 PM-7:00 PM on BBC 2 Scotland. I don't know when the dub aired exactly due to these conflicting timeslots, but there's definitely a copy of the series.

Great progress you made! Haven’t made any progress tho.
