I don't know if this exact CD will ever be found due to it being a compilation CD, but I remember buying a CD in the late 90s or early 2000s possibly that said something like "Games the best 100" or 1001. I am looking for it as there was 2-3 specific games on it that I played that I have been unable to find even with asking about them on various sites. I know the games on this were mostly shareware/demo versions of games and from the ones I remember:
I am not sure if this will ever be found as its a compilation CD and I know there were a number of different ones in the 90s/early 00s but just thought I'd ask
- Demonstar
- Speedy Eggbert and 3-D Frog Man (Possibly)
- Rats! (The top down game where you kill rats in maze levels)
- Nonsense Madness Trilogy by Cinnamon Interactive
- Possibly Kung Fu Kim: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tUqjxqymlY
- A game called "Jumping Toon" (Maybe a French game) It was top down and you had to jump from rock to rock or fall into the blackness and lose a life. I remember some rock platforms rotated
- A game called Treasure Island that used this midi file as background music: www.alternatievewiskunde.nl/was_UPC/edwin/racingsk.mid someone even made a tracker file based on the music saying they heard it playing in the game: modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=34892 Does anyone know what this game is?
- An arpg in the style of Diablo, Icewind Dale or games like that where you controlled at least 3 main characters and I remember you had to eat to keep your health up and I am sure I remember finding bread or buying bread in a town and when the character "eats" the bread you hear a crunch sound. I think there was an open countryside like area and an inside location like a dungeon of a castle. I think there was goblin enemies you could kill. The game may have been made in Japan but don't quote me on that.
