Hey there. I remember seeing a short film at IMAX twice as a child. After doing some digging, I found that the name of the short was Paint Misbehavin’. Although a screenshot was posted and there were a few other details (such as who directed it), I’ve been unable to find the film itself. It doesn’t appear to be on YouTube or the Internet Archive, and I don’t know if IMAX has played it since.
Hey! Did some quick searching and found a clip of it on the director's show reel. I'll call him tomorrow and see if the number still works. Maybe this is something that would be quick and easy to find!

Sorry to say but I realized I've been so busy and I'm not interested enough to call the guy up and ask him about this. If anyone else does, be my guest.

There's a guy named projectionist Rob who made a tweet referring to the film. I tried to post it here but it just posted an unrelated tweet. Just look up paint Misbehavin imax on Google and it'll be the 4th result. Try asking Rob if he has it. His Twitter account is below, or sorry his X account because twitter wants to blend in as much as possible apparently.

It looks like he has a 70mm IMAX print of the film, which is great, but getting that scanned is nonsensical given how much it would cost, if he's even open to it.
Wow, it looks like there was a bit of progress made since I was last active here. Keep up the good search, my dudes.
I’d been searching for this for about 15 years. Couldn’t find anything at all until recently. Not source footage, and not an SBS, but I think this is the best we’ll get. Just cool to see it again! m.youtube.com/watch?v=dP6kAleR_kE
