So, some of you may know that there are three books that were made by Adam Mansbach as a way to parody children’s books. These books included:
Go the F*ck to Sleep (2011)
You have to F*cking Eat (2014)
F*ck, now there are two of you (2019)
All those books are on YouTube. So I recommend you give them a read, because in my opinion, they’re some of the funniest books I’ve read, especially since they’re parodies of childrens books.
But that’s not the point of this thread.
I want to tell you guys about an unpublished 4th book of the GTFTS series that was made back in early 2020 called “Stay the F*ck at Home”. The theme of the book: an attempt to spread awareness of the Covid-19 pandemic, since the pandemic was starting to quarantine people back then.
Samuel L. Jackson, a person well-known for being an actor, producer, and making an audiobook of Go the F*ck to Sleep with his own voice, was sent a copy of the book by Adam, and he read it on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” (https://youtu.be/sSrbxyna4z4) He is currently the only other person to have a copy of the book, as far as I know.
Samuel doesn’t actually show any of the pictures in the book, the only pictures we DO see in that presentation was the cover and back, with the cover being the same one from Go the F*ck to sleep, except the “Go the F*ck to Sleep” text has been replaced with “Stay the F*ck at Home”
And, that’s all. Just something I’d like to talk about here, since this is the first time Im using these forums!
