I've been trying to find this music video I saw once on either Family Channel or YTV between 2006-2012. I have a vague recollection of scenes that were in the music video but I don't know the song or band/singer.
In the music video I'm trying to find it's either a song by a solo female singer or a band with a female lead. In the video there's 2 scenes 1 with just the band and the singer playing the instruments and the other with the singer and her boyfriend in a living room with the boyfriend playing video games and ignoring the girlfriend. At the end of the music video he is crumpled up like paper and thrown in a garbage can/ waste basket by the couch. There may have been more scenes of the boyfriend neglecting her elsewhere, but the couch is the main one I remember.
I've been going through a list on Wikipedia of Canadian musicians and looking through music videos of artists videos from around that time. Hopefully the video is indeed Canadian and the singer/band has a wikipedia article + is included in the list I'm going through.
