Northern Verse (ノーザン ヴァース) is an unreleased RPG/SLG game made by Koei for PC-98 and was also planned to have arranged soundtrack CD relreased along side, the game was delayed multiple times and never release. There has been speculation that it was delayed to avoid direct competition with other similar titles, but the company has never talked about it, the game was quietly cancelled with little information around. A few information can be gathered through Koei's game catalogues, where they promote games, and games they released in 1993 and early 1994 will have the information about the game in the catalogue. Teitoku no Ketsudan II Power-Up Kit (提督の決断II パワーアップキット) has the game featured on the cover of the catalogue, it may contain more information about it, but I don't know its content. The game was also advertised on LOGiN magazine and was set to released in a month, and it's unclear if there are more ads or the team has been interviewed about the game. The development progress is unknown, the release date was only in a couple of months and also have the soundtrack planned, I guess they may already have the game done and the soundtrack was also finished or halfway at recording.
