Hi, I'm interested in figuring out a game I played when I was a wee kid, been trying to find it for literally over a decade with no luck. crunchling adventure reminds me of the game but it's missing a lot of things I remember. I also considered confusing the game with creatures, another game I played a lot as a kid, but some of the details I remember make no sense for that game
- mid-to-late 90's is roughly when I would have played it
- strongly believe it to be a food mascot branded game, but it could also be an edutainment game, or just a normal kid's game.
- you could feed the creatures, I vaguely remember the "food" being chocolate, but it could easily be something like a biscuit or maybe cereal.
- the game involved guiding around these weird little creatures, I can't remember if you actually controlled them or simply guided them around like in creatures
- I believe that you could look into the various "rooms" of the game, even if they didn't have any creatures in it.
- you had to guide them around the world, I remember them having different clothing pieces and there being males and females
- remember it being a 2D platformer, but extremely basic and slow.
- I remember three areas specifically:
- a "starting" area that consisted of what I remember to be bunk beds, where each "bed" had one of the little creatures on it
- a garden/greenhouse/apiary area, where bees would get in the way
- a "final" area, that allowed the creatures to teleport to major real-world cities. there was a giant screen that would show any creatures who teleported hanging out in a city
if anyone has any ideas or maybe knows what game I'm thinking of, I'd be greatly appreciative. I'm hoping it's not as obscure as I think and I just missed something obvious.
