Hello all! I'm new to the forum and I was hoping someone may be able to assist me in recovering a lost video from many years ago.
Growing up watching Cartoon Network all the time, I was often surfing their website checking out all the cool games and videos they had available for free. There is one video that I've been seeking out for years, but to no avail.
The title of the video is "A Day in the Lab of Dexter" and it was originally featured in the Theater section of Cartoon Network under "Clip Parade". It's not a particularly memorable video, but the instrumental song featured in it has been stuck in my head since. It's likely just a piece of stock music, but I have no idea who wrote it or what album it would have come from. This was created and posted on CN's website a good while before the Cartoon Summer videos that included things like "Back to the Lab Again" and "Secret Formula".
I have two different Wayback Archive links available for reference. I doubt the video itself was archived, but if it was then I cannot figure out how to access it.
This link shows the original page it was on, in the Theater's "Clip Parade".
This link, a year later, is from when the video was moved to the general "Watch/Video Clips" page.
Is there any hope for finding or accessing this video, or is it lost to time?
This is interesting. Obviously it's only 90 seconds but I wonder what it contains.
It's nothing special, being that it's just clips of the show put together, but it's the song that really has me thinking about it. I can still hear it in my head, but I don't know piano chords well enough to replicate it in my music software.
Fog machine I will help you find this lost animation for dexter how can I help?

I appreciate your willingness! Unfortunately, I seem to be at a dead end. Everything I was able to find is in my original post. The only way I could think how to find the video would be to get it working through the Wayback Archive links. However, I don't know if that's even possible. It seems like the Wayback Archive only saved the page where you have to choose your connection type and what player you'd like to use (RealPlayer or Quicktime).
This video may be lost permanently, but I figured it was worth throwing this mystery on this site in case anyone had knowledge of its existence or how to potentially access it.
I tried digging around the site files to see if I could find any archived videos and while there's some, and there's a few dexter clips, I couldn't find this one. I even searched the Latin American version of the site just to see if it would be there but I couldn't find it either. It might be available somewhere, but probably not archived in cartoon network's site itself.

I appreciate your hard work on that. It's unfortunate the video is likely lost forever, but not the biggest deal. I could probably find the song if I were to go sifting through thousands of old stock music CDs through a few different websites, but that would take a heck of a long while with no guarantees. I'll likely try it one day, though. Thank you again for trying.

It would be a pretty cool find so I'd be delighted if anyone had any more info!
