I see thanks for the info, I also tried finding the little star vhs on Ebay and had no such luck
No problem; it's like I said before, the show was very obscure and not that well liked, so while the media is out there; people who are in possession of it are unlikely to think that anyone would want it, and therefore are either just hanging onto it, or have forgotten that they own it entirely.
He cut his trail of tears across the countryside And where he went, women wept and men died One night he woke from a vision of his own death Saddled his pony and rode her deep into the West

Right since there were lots of Canadian kids shows that have fallen into obscurity, little star is one that always comes to mind to me

Do you happen to remember what the other tapes of the show looked like?

If memory serves they looked similar to the Professor Iris AKA Iris The Happy Professor VHS tapes (which I used to have 3 of). The 2 shows were produced by the same people.

Another suggestion I have for finding Little Star tapes is go to the library, not sure how it is in other countries but here in rural Canada all the libraries are linked and can share media back and forth, they have some pretty obscure films available to patrons.

Can you still borrow vhs tapes from libraries anymore?

Did those tapes happen to say which episodes were on them?
I would imagine they did, but as I never watched the show and it was in the early 2000s I didn't retain the specific names.

Don't know if this helps at all, but was just watching one of those "discussion videos" on Youtube, and someone in the comments referred to the show by it's French name, "Petite Etoile"; I am wondering if you Google that if more info would come up as opposed to just searching "Little Star"?
Further investigation down the Little Star rabbit hole had me find this:
I had no clue there were versions other than the English & French ones! May be a long shot but could looking at the broadcast history from other countries help us find missing episodes?
This website offers you the opportunity to contact the distributor of it's sister show, "Iris The Happy Professor" (AKA Professor Iris). Maybe they'd have some info on the Little Star VHS as well as Iris?

Thanks for this link, I did check the other link but unfortunately I didn’t see any info on the rare VHS releases of the show
No problem. Did you email them asking if they have any leads for the Little Star tapes?
