I'm an aspiring fashion designer who loved FIT's book and exhibition Japan Fashion Now, and I'm looking for every article on the exhibition ever written as research for my future career.
While looking through the press section of the online version of the exhibition, I decided to look for every article or video listed and could access them all online (although some articles were taken down and I had to use the Wayback machine), except for one article: 'Japan Fashion Now at FIT: A Review and A Confession' by Long Nguyen for Fashionista.com, published in November 2010.
I first clicked on the link to that Fashionista article on the exhibition's official website only to discover that the link was broken. I then decided to enter the article's URL into the Wayback machine, but unfortunately no Fashionista webpages have been archived using that service. Getting increasingly fustrated, I tried every other internet archiving service I could find, but still cannot access that Fashionista article. Worst of all, I couldn't even contact the article's author because he had already died.
In fact, Fashionista has deleted all their articles from 2010 and earlier except for two: 'Great outfits in fashion history: Hayley Williams's bow-adorned mini dress' by India Roby and 'Israel bans underweight models, but don't expect America to follow suit' by Dhani May. I have no idea why Fashionista would do this; plenty of people would have wanted to read these early articles.
Can someone help restore or recover these lost Fashionista articles from 2010 and earlier? I'd be particuarly grateful if someone could find me 'Japan Fashion Now at FIT: A Review and A Confession' by Long Nguyen.
