Hello again, just a quick fyi, I'm not sure if this is completely lost, but since I can't find it anywhere, it's worth asking.
Back in 2009, about a month or two prior to the game's release I believe, footage showing gameplay of Modern Warfare 2, including its controversial mission No Russian (the airport one) was leaked to the internet. This was really big news back then. Everyone was arguing whether this fit in the game, whether it was ethical or not, and it even made the news for a while.
While the other 2 (maybe more) videos showing the Favela level and Co-op campaign remain, the No Russian one does not. The difference between these two was that the ones that remain were recorded at GamesCon 2009 (I think), and this one was recorded somewhere else.
The original video file was uploaded to CNN's iReport page, and it was also mirrored in YouTube. However, the videos were followed by inmediate takedowns, and mirrors that showed up disappeared instantly.
(There is one video that showed the level in its entirety in a much better quality uploaded 2 days prior to the game's release date, however, the one I'm asking for here is the grainy, low quality one, with the Preview Copy text on the upper left corner, and the PS3 messages popping up on the opposite side.)
A snippet of the original video is shown here, in this joke video (uploaded 8 days prior to the release date), being looped over and over again. As you can see, it has the Preview Copy text, and a PS3 Message popup.
Does anybody know about the whereabouts of this old video?
