I remember reading one of these books when they were given away at a school event but I can't remember the title, much less the author but what I do remember are the stories that were in the book and that the title had something to do with a science fair and robot.
The main character's name was Dave (iirc) and the first story mainly consisted of him and his friend creating this farting cardboard robot suit for the science fair which his older sister and her friend decide to steal and use for themselves, something happens which results in ants getting into the suit with Dave's sister and her friend freaking out until Dave uses his ant catcher (a jelly covered string connected to a jar) to lure the ants out and wins first prize at the science fair.
The second story is about Dave and his friend deciding on what to do during the summer while his sister and her friend are in the backyard, they decide to wreak havoc by doing all sorts of things but the most notable of which being that they make the two girls believe that it's snowing when in reality they're just scratching their dandruff on top of them from a tree.
The third story is about Dave and his friend camping in his backyard when they think a bear is outside with them, (memory gets hazy at what happened here) Dave then asks his sister for help and she reluctantly does and heads outside with a flashlight and sees what she believes is a bear and runs only for it to turn out to be their dog.
Anyone else read this book or any of its sequels?
