Hello.
This has been in the back of my mind for a while. I remember sometime in the late 2010s picking up this comic one day at Barnes & Noble and flipping through it. I recall the comic came out around that time period as well, if I'm not mistaken. Apparently, the plot revolves around two guys, a Caucasian male and a African American male who are friends. For one reason or another, they come into possession of a NASA rocket, and decide to attach it to their van. Thus, rocket van....? Anyhow, some other characters I remember would be a pimp of some kind, and a faction of women who were ninjas. One of the covers for the comic was the two main characters in the center of a mall, while SWAT officers repelled into the scene. I was under the impression that the comic took place in California, or some kind of adjacent fictional Los Angeles location. I never got around to reading this comic unfortunately, then maybe it would've stuck with me. I can't remember the publisher for this series either. Dark Horse comes to mind....but a quick search through their library leads me to believe they're not the publisher.
Another thing, I remember there being a some kind of animated preview for this comic on YouTube that I was impressed with at the time. I'm unsure if the preview was for a proposed animated series, or just to advertise the comic. A few scenes I remember from the preview: the two main characters riding around in the van, some action scenes, a tinted window slowly rolling down to reveal the pimp character. I also remember the music for the preview was some kind of electronic genre.
Google doesn't seem to be of any help.
