I have been listening to Pusha T's 2018 masterpiece "DAYTONA". Since the project was produced by Kanye West, it is filled to the brim with different samples. Almost all of the samples across the seven track album have been identified, except for a vocal sample on the intro track. Within the first few seconds of "If You Know You Know" you can hear a sample of someone saying "by- by- by-" no one on the internet to my knowledge knows where this sample comes from. So here's everything I know about it:
1. After pitching the track down, it sounds to be a Jamaican male saying the phrase "He neva deh deso". I found a Youtube comment saying that it could be "Him neva deh deso" but personally I think its the latter.
2. It was most likely sampled from a dancehall/reggaeton song from the 1970s or 80s. As Kanye has previously sampled dancehall songs from that time period.
That is all I (think) I know about this sample.
I have been trying to find this thing for like three days now any help would be great.
