The title is self explanatory. If you remember Animax, do you remember why did it end? Did it go bankrupt or something? Is it because of the identity crisis?
Reese's Puffs, Reese's Puffs, eat em up, eat em up, eat em up!
The TV channel? I remember watching it abroad in Asia! It had the same limited number of shows on loop for months at a time, before getting a new lineup of limited shows on loop for another couple of monthsXD But I still loved it! Because here in the USA, the idea of an "anime channel" (that wasn't like an extra cost dumped on a cable package) was so novel to me. I didn't know it went under, if mind serves correctly, it's known for a number of lost English dubs?
I assume it went under due to the costs of running it exceeding the profit due to streaming. I sometimes watch cable TV when I visit my family and yeah...it def feels like a lot of channels are on life support if not pushing their streaming services every other commercial.

Well, that and they were usually not the main source for anime dubs to begin with. One could export some anime dub DVDs from the US(in Japan it got to the point that some Japanese companies made sure US DVDs were dub only so as to try & prevent them from continuing on with their reverse importing). Streaming services & trusted companies like Viz Media are other causes for Animax's downfall.
