Hello to all
I was wondering one thing, because things I've seen seem kinda contradicting. After an intense search, I managed to find recently a lost very popular (like 5 stars popular on the Steam Workshop, a hard feat amongst custom civs mods there) mod of the video game Civilization V by a renowned creator in the community that was deleted recently with no archiving seemingly left of it or way of contacting said creator when people were looking for it since about a year. I posted about it on my thread to find it. On the scale of the small mod community, it's a nice find and there were other fanmade content that made it in the past if I remember well. So, having done some accepted notices before for things like JBVO or that lost DS A Boy and His Blob game, I do another one for it, complete with the link to the cloud that hosted it and a picture. Surprise, my notice and its picture get deleted by SenaUW with the reason given "No article = no announcement". I'm sorry? When's the last time they looked at the notice board? 7 out of the 30 current notices don't have an article either, why do they get accepted but not mine, I don't understand? What are the rules supposed to be here? I sure hope it's not "on the fly" or because of a somewhat arbitrary decision by anyone saying "this found media without an article is important, this is not because I said so". It's the first complete found media I found, I put many efforts into it and it wasn't easy. I thought the notice board was a way of giving a small shout out to people of the lost media community for their effort for mediatic preservation, a thumbs up, a little congrats for their effort even if they aren't the most popular thing here or even have an article on the wiki (like it can clearly be seen times and times again). Could someone have the kindness to explain me clearly the rules so at least it can be clear and understand the objective fairness in the situation given the reasons? Thanks a lot, I'm not mad, just confused.
