A Micronauts 52 episode cartoon was initially announced back in 2017, with a target release date of 2019. It apparently has been completed and was initially shelved then later written off for tax purposes. An article covering the announcement can be found here
Synopsis of the series
The series was intended to release following an announced announced live action Micronauts movie from Paramount. The movie was initially announced back in 2009, eventually getting an initial October 2020 release date. It was later delayed to June 2021, before being removed entirely from Paramount's release schedule in November 2020. As an aside it's technically it's lost media as well. I don't believe it started filming, but it got at least up to having a casting call. Some info on the movie can be found here.
Synopsis of the series
"When fate brings an unlikely team of alien space explorers to earth in pursuit of the evil Baron Karza, they make a shocking discovery - on our world they are the size of action figures!" explains a Hasbro marketing kit. "The Micronauts are small heroes in a big world but the stakes are higher than ever as their miniaturized size presents dangerous obstacles at every turn. Fortunately, they forge an alliance with teenager Cameron Ruck, who will join them in their pursuit of justice. Although the Micronauts are small in stature, their bravery and adventurous spirits remain larger than life."

The series was apparently intended to go along side the movie. However Eric Rogers, the Co-Creator, Executive Producer, and Show Runner on it recently said in a series of tweets talking about the Wrtiter's Guild Strike that it been written off for tax purposes after being shelved.
Tweet - Great post from my former staff writer on Micronauts. The studio keeping a show on the shelf after we had almost no support staff after 3 years of some of my/our best work ever turned that time into a 52 episode gig job. 3 years of a job that doesn’t exist… 1/
Tweet - Because the studio decided it should be a tax write off and had ZERO consideration for the humans involved and literally erased our careers for those years b/c we have nothing to show for all of our hard work.
THAT is what writers are fighting to stop. Now and for the future.

Tweet - Hasbro. They didn't even bother selling the show to a network/distributor. Had us make 2 seasons of content and then... zippity zilch.
Tweet - Just sitting on a shelf since Jan. 2020, my dude. Completely produced. And it was GOOD. There was no reason for the studio to not air, especially during a pandemic when everyone was home, other than their greed in wanting to make a movie first... a movie they can't get made.
