In the UK, Kellogg's released Fruit Winders (essentially British fruit by the foot), Fruit Spurters (British fruit gushers), and Fruit Squidgers under the Screaming Fruit brand. The premise of the advertising was simple: a notorious gang of anthropomorphic fruit (referred to as the Chewchat Gang) will trick and slaughter smaller fruits in various ways. The gang and the fruits speak with cartoon illustration, being the titular "chewchat". I've been trying to archive some of the promotional material, as I've become fascinated with the characters and world. Two characters seem to lack an appearance in the commercials, as well as having unconfirmed names.
When it comes to the Chewchat Gang, there are 7 characters confirmed to exist:
Orange - Blabber is the leader of the gang, he's themed around entertainment, such as show business, professional wrestling, and theme parks.
Strawberry - Sorbabe is a pop diva character, themed around stardom, usually seen hosting raves. In an interview I found, she's said to have been kicked out of their nursery for bullying, and enjoy living life as a nuisance.
Blackcurrant - The gadgeteer genius, Booster, uses his skills with technology to catch and kill fruit.
Apple - Max is an athlete and extreme sports junkie, she is usually seen wearing roller skates. Some sources have called her "Sweaty" for some reason, but there's visual proof of their name being Max.
Tropical - Their name is Voojuice, which fits their witch doctor motif. Seemingly preys on multiple fruit, such as grapefruit, bananas, and passionfruit. Some sources call them "Voodoo" but there's now proof of their name being Voojuice.
Lemon - The name is unknown, and they're supposedly a genie, having a "Shantaesque" ponytail. You can't find them in the ads, so here's an image.
Raspberry - Their name may be Stealth or Raspberry Stealth, assumed from the title of their recently found comic strip. They are well versed in the art of infiltration.
In addition to the already covered content, there was a website with games and cartoons, it ran on flash, so maybe there's swf files floating around?
