The Max Headroom Show lost episodes

Hello!
I just recently found out the the first 12 episodes of The Max Headroom Show are lost media. I thought I'd discuss it here because I haven't seen anyone else talk about it and I really want them found, as I am a big fan.
The first season of The Max Headroom Show has no intro, guest stars, or big set, and only consisted of Max talking and commenting on various music videos. It is said that the first season had a specific neon lattice-like background with hexagons that was unique to this season. Only one clip exists with this background found in this video at 3:33: youtu.be/nt56RMbpq_0
Due to this, the second season is usually confused to be the first as most websites list the first season as completely blank, save for the 13th episode where Max Headroom interviews Sting.
I wasn't around in the 80's, so it's practically impossible for me to look for this as I have no old VHS recordings lying around.
