Lost Turkish dub of The Wonderful World Of Puss 'n Boots

Apologies accepted but this is not at all a reason to continue gatekeep the LMW away from all these users in contrast to its very mission of uniting everyone. A fringe of people can complain about positive changes, there always will be, but they'll have to accept finding lost media is finding lost media, end of the story (and that's the story to begin with : making lost media found again). I might personally not be the fondest of searches for game shows, bumpers, any NSFW stuff and especially prototype toys (looking at you LSuperSonicQ) but if that motivates people to go preserve our collective human mediatic heritage and the stories associated with them, not me nor anyone else should hypocritically criticize them for going with their passion, especially since it lines up with our collective mission, we're all in the same boat in different areas of interest and we should respect that as we always did. If some toxic people complain about "things going downhill", guess what, it's nothing new nor even exclusive to here. There are still people mad about the move from wikia to the current website, still people thinking it is too "mainstream", still people preffering earlier designs of the site, still people mad for 1001 other niche reasons, that's not a reason to go against our principles to class certain types of lost media as second-class and less worthy of being preserved because of their language (which is borderline racist), it doesn't justify anything and is asking for the impossible perfect satisfaction at this point. If there are people here not wanting media to be found for the childish reason they don't like dubs, to willfully go to have them end up permanently lost, they're not for found media to begin with, leave those who are interested by these dubs to go do their thing here like anyone respectable and inclusive do with people searching for things that others might not personally enjoy or find value in them but still respect their search effort in the end. You are for inclusivity or you are not, you are for the preservation of media or you are not.

Moderators are here for a reason, no need to worry about some apocalypse. And an apocalypse for what? For well integrating content from all cultures into our pages like it's very much possible to do? For being inclusive and stopping the condescending double-standard and exclusion of non-english dubs content and by extension of the people that care about them, which is exclusive and borderline racist considering the importance of dubbing in certain cultures mediatic production, many of which have fascinating histories waiting to be told? For allowing us to learn more from other cultures and their mediatic history outside our own cultural bubble? For allowing the LMW to continue more and more properly do its job of being a central hub for all lost media and lost media searches for people from around the world? What's the problem here? There is no problem but hate against treating all lost media as equal based on their language which is de facto treated as a result of this exclusion as inferior in importance to not warrant proper backing like any other media type. Why should we try to have things stay like that and not take a chance to do a positive change for the world and continue doing so to be in accordance with our own principles? Game shows searches would never have been considered a thing a decade ago and yet here we are, no civil war happened because of that, no problem to begin with but being inclusive of the preferences of more people and thus be more like the LMW we wish to be. It's worth fighting for. Double-standards and not respecting our very mission are not.

Reading your post, you very visibly understand the unfairness and injustices in this warped lost media anglo-centric scene, why don't you act on it and be in accordance with your own values by properly being for such a positive change and unambiguously expressing so? Why keeping defending nail and tooth a status quo not worth fighting for? Please, have the courage to be on our side and fight for this positive change that will benefit all of us, the more pieces of the world media puzzle we have, the more we can understand it and help preserve it and its stories from the real people that worked for these works. It's not that it will be easy that matter, but that it is the right thing to do like you yourself said, that's what actually matter. How can we change such state of thing, such exclusion of people from around the world, if we don't even start somewhere for the sake of preserving a sacrosanct very much wrong decision unworthy of what we stand for, what will? That's the world I wanna start today contributing to making reality by changing this nonsense once and for all, don't you? Then what are you waiting for?

And why do you think that is the case to begin with? For the simple reason that the people likely to be interested in that type of content, people interested in non-anglo non-japanese content and especially in dubs get coldy brushed off with a "Sorry but wr don't really do foreign language dubs on here anymore." and thus go away from the site like the very original poster here searching for a turkish dub? For the same reasons as non-english versions of the site having no chance to have the userbase and traffic the main site has, these communities should join us so our ressources here can rightfully put them in a likelier chance of their lost media being found and preserved, including yours, our end goal to us all, isn't it? Have the courage like me and others to fight for change! I don't personally know about Anabel, tel us all about it in different threads to change that, that's what this wiki is supposed to be for, go for it man! You're not alone in wanting dubs of all languages to be treated equally here, I want it too and many others users and non-users would too. We must normalize this, it doesn't have to be this way. 

What's more on track then defending the right of lost turkish dubs amongst others to be searched for and be given the same treatment as any other type of lost media when there are people that don't like threads like this one to even exist? The very original poster likely stopped going after the dub here because of the cold response (look at their reply in the beginning), it's to change that and allow it back on track as you say when some wanted it derailed entirely for reasons that come search me deep.

Anyway, as I said in the post replying to the OP, I haven't found any mention of a lost turkish dub online for the movie I think they were talking about. I was asking them if their parents might have misremembered it for another Puss n' boots movie with a turkish dub and if they know of any site where I could look TV guides of the era. Still hasn't got a response and I'm waiting for it in the meanwhile, it's kinda important to the search. 

No worries. It's the infamous "Spongebob Albanian dub" story that became apparently toxic and troll-like (I myself am not even sure what exactly happened),  a sort of easy boogeyman for all searches for dubs to be shut down and away. Just because of that and other dumb reasons that are easily debunked or questionable.

UPDATE: while i was searching around, i found one source stating that it is real, its from a blog about classic cartoons that aired on turkish soil, it is also a trustworthy source.

Giving the information we have, it would most likely be a Saturday Morning Cartoon (SMC), somewhere around 1989 - 1991

Also, the reason why it makes sense for a film like Nagagutsu no Haita Neko to be dubbed in Turkey is simple, It's because Anime was the common piece of animation to be dubbed, no matter the date, so something like Puss in Boots makes total sense
