UPDATE: Someone on Reddit located the video, here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vAh0pV_T6AY
Original post below:
--------------------------------
Sorry if this is the wrong section for this, I wasn't sure.
This is a weird case where I basically remember everything about the video.... just not its actual title or who the author was.
I've tried asking other places including the reddit group TipOfMyTongue, and me posting about it here is basically another desperate attempt on my part to get a lead.
..... So, it was a video about the PC game "Mystery of the Druids." The problem is there's been a lot of videos about this, and even Youtube's own search keeps directing me to either the one by MandaloreGaming or else the one by Retsupurae... but I know for a fact it can't be either one. Thing is, I almost thought the Mandalore one was it, but when I watched through, it was missing a lot of very specific things I remembered.. but also the timing was wrong.
Anyway, the reason I know it can't be either the Retsupurae or the Mandalore Gaming video is because I have a very specific memory: a friend of mine was there when Retsu started doing their series, and I was like "I've already seen a video about that" and linked them to this one... this one I'm now looking for. So this video I'm looking for came out before Retsupurae's video.
Other specific things I remember:
It was a single long video, anywhere from forty minutes to two hours, but I wanna say it was in the one hour range.
It was one of those reviews that kinda summarizes the game while making jokes and quips and commenting on everything that happened.
The reviewer never shows themselves at any point in the video, unless its very blink-and-you'll-miss-it.
The video both begins and ends by talking about the game's infamous box art. I specifically remember the ending, where it says "All you need to know is... this game, this box art. Good night."
There's this one part where the game's character is trying to get onto property, and some line of dialogue prompts the reviewer to say "no you fool, never tell an adventure game character he can't enter somewhere!"
There's a part (I think its at the point where he's trying to get past the hedge-fence and onto the stately mansion yard) where the reviewer inserts Mission Impossible-like music.
One reason this video is hard to find is because it actually did NOT (to my memory) actually say "Mystery of the Druids" in the video title... but I think it featured the infamous screaming face in the thumbnail.
That is all I remember. If anyone can help me find it, that would be great.
UPDATE: Someone on another forum claimed that this description matched a video that used to be uploaded on the Escapist (the same Escapist known for Jimquisition and Zero Punctuation) but is there no longer. I can't confirm if its the right video or not, and I think I would remember if the video I sought contained any major internet celebrities, but its worth noting.
