Old Mario-like game from 2014

Here's an old game that randomly popped in my head. I tried looking for it everywhere on the App store but couldn't find it. Here's what I remember. It's a Mario-like platformer where you play as something like a guy with a blue hat and yellow shirt. One of the power-ups was a red pepper. I don't remember what the pepper did but I think it could make you run faster.  And one of the enemies was a bug. And I think there was a final boss at the end of the game that was like a robot that shot bullets. I think I remember playing it around 2014. Anyways, that's all I could remember.
