While researching various New Age artists on Newspapers.com, I came across a Magazine called "Cymbiosis", a pun of "symbiosis ". According to an advertisement featured on "Detroit Free Press" on May 4, 1987 (link: www.newspapers.com/newspage/99368697/ ), the third issue featured interviews of many prominent New Age artists, including "John McLaughlin, Brandon Fields, Suzanne Ciani, Ray Lynch and Yanni."
The magazine is not available on Google News or Google Books, so I searched deeper and came across "The Online Archive of California": www.oac.cdlib.org/findaid/ark:/13030/kt5p30369v/dsc/?dsc.position=2501. This website states that the magazine is featured as boxes 221 and 260 in the Getty Research Institute in California.
This is the closest I've come to finding this particular issue. There are many problems with this situation:
1). I do not live in California, so I am unable to drive to the Getty Research Institute efficiently. 2). There are no other means of getting it except through the institute.
Therefore, I need some help finding some lost New Age Interviews.
so i did a quick search before i got ready for bed.i found some links using Google and in this one (http://fingerprintsweb.net/ahwiki/index.php?title=Press_coverage) inside the link itself there was something written for the magazine written by Levine thats titled Allan Holdsworth: "...Where No Guitarist Has Gone Before...".(http://fingerprintsweb.net/ahwiki/index.php?title="...Where_No_Guitarist_Has_Gone_Before..."_(Cymbiosis_1986) ) i will look further than page 2 of Google after i finish my math homework tomorrow after church.
I don't understand what the links for "the link two a article on here is dead" mean, but I did get this to appear on the Wayback Machine. Pro tip: if you can't get a link to work, try copying the link address and putting it in the Wayback Machine.
"Weekend? It's Monday already."

I was able to retrieve the article by going to the Internet Archive.
I was about to work on a first draft when i remembered about this. Went to jstor to see if I could find anything since i didn't have that last time i looked into this and found two things dating to 1990 one of which is mostly a summary of what it is and the other is a table of contents for the same book. www.jstor.org/stable/941273
Two came up in my school email today. What's there I don't know if they could help as ones a review and the other is a article but there is a image of one of the magazines I don't think I've seen before in one of them. I'm going to convert it to a image file then screenshot just the relevant sections later today. I need to take a break and eat soon.
