Inquiring for Lost Media via personal social media

Hi everyone,
This will be a long post but I was on the search for some specific Soul Train episodes and performances along with a few BET Live From LA episodes all from 1999-2000 while I made posts of them but no responses.
For Soul Train have been trying to ask a few people which include the people that worked with the artists as well as the artist themselves.As I noticed in the media search guide it says
5. Inquire
If you can't find anybody who's already asking about what you're looking for, ask yourself! Go to anyone who may be willing to help who might have encountered what you're searching for. This may include:
Asking forums, Reddit, and Q&A sitesJoining communities on Discord, Facebook, Amino, and other sites, andContacting people through email, Twitter, LinkedIn, or general social media.
Also I was suggested by the one user from from internet archive that I should reach out to the artists or anyone that has worked with them.
Anyways, there was this one singer(I don't want to say his name for personal reasons) that has been famous for around 30 years and he does not have like any public social media accounts but he has a personal facebook account. I reached out to his manager at the time and she doesn't have anything and I was wondering if I can reach out to him on his personal facebook account since thats the only account of his that is active because I want to reach out to him but I don't want to invade his privacy. So should I reach out to him or let him be?
Also for the BET Live From LA, I reached out to some of the directors and producers if they have any specific episodes but they have not reached out as Idk if they have blocked me or what. But I noticed that co host of that show around the time has an instagram account. I want to send her a message to ask if she has any footage but again like the singer, it is almost like a public account but she might tend to live a more private life while she is not hugely known now like she used to almost 30+ years ago. So should I send her a DM or leave her alone? Again, I really want to see some of the episodes from the show but I'm afraid that she might block me. Like that was the only person on my list to reach out from that show(if I shoukd reach out) and Idk know of any other people that have the footage of BET Live From LA. Like I said earlier, I was suggested by a user that I can reach out to some of the artists or anyone that worked with them. Or in the other show's case, the people who worked on the show or was part of the show?
So let me know what I should do because I really want to see those episodes really bad.
