When I was little, I remember once seeing a rather strange commercial that involved a kid on a swing. The kid kept swinging higher and higher on the swing until eventually they fly off of the swing and into the sky. The commercial ends with the empty swing continuing to move, but it does not show the kid falling back down. From what I remember, it was just one static shot focused on the kid swinging (they flew into the sky off-screen) and they were the only person featured in the ad.
I watched this before my family moved in early 2007 so it most likely aired sometime between 2004-2006. I watched a lot of Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon back then, so perhaps it aired on there? It could also have been a PSA that aired on another channel as I remember it being a bit off-putting similar to how other PSAs that aired around that timeframe were.
Nah, It wasn't that one. I only remember there being only one kid featured. The camera was about 10-15 ft away from the swing and it stayed on one static shot focused on the swinging for the entire duration of the commercial. I'm leaning more towards it being a PSA or something as it was more unnerving than silly like the capri sun ad was.
While I still haven't found the commercial/PSA yet, I happened to find a PSA that is a bit similar to what I'm talking about:
The camera was about this far away, if not a bit closer and remained static just like this PSA was. Now that I think about it, it's possible that there might have been two children in the commercial. A boy (the one who flys off) and a girl. I can't remember any more details besides that unfortunately.
