Hello, I know you guys are looking for a copy of the Super Mario 64 big star secret video that was uploaded to YouTube in 2008.
I have a flash extension on my computer, and I will see if it works, if it does then I will upload the video to Archive.org, to make this whole case, Found!
When I saw this thread show up, I thought it had actually been found. Still a really good lead though I'm not too knowledgeable about how possible this is.
This might be our only way to get the video since nobody has come forward with it after all the publicity the search got.

Omg hi!
Edit: I found an extension that probably works, It's called FlashPlayer, (idk if it works yet) I'm gonna try. I opened the page and it's just blank.
I got this using a combination of 2 different flash extensions ("Flash Player for Web 2023" and "Flash Player for the Web"). The video never loads, though ://

I almost had a heart attack when i saw this in found, i'm pretty sure archive doesn't save the videos themselves just because i think they're stored on Youtubes servers. I could be wrong. But if you're right about this than this is *HUGE*, almost like uncovering a Big Secret......i'll see myself out

The picture I put is what it shows now
Hello! That's unfortunate you weren't able to get it to load. I still get confused about what the Wayback Machine can save and what it can't. I remember for the Nicktoons Zombified bumpers, we had found the links from Nick's old website and tried using similar methods to get the videos to play
It didn't work but I don't know why we even tried that if the Wayback Machine can't save videos.

Something I saw that was interesting is that the prank video containing footage of it was a video response. I had no idea youtube ever did video responses. Why did they remove that?

I took a look at this, the reason the flash player shows up as loading might be something to do with the fact the player is flash based. The video itself is not there at all.
I also tried with JDownloader and it found nothing too.
