might delete this as at first i didnt want to post this here as idk if its even lost but i havent seen anyone else recently mention this thing anywhere nor play it online again recently so here goes nothing
like the title said ive been trying to find this playable browser game based off the game Mighty no. 9 that was made as some replacement for it being delayed yet again at the time in 2016, in the browser game its a basic jump and shooter where you have to beat every 8 bosses of the game, i remember seeing 3 total youtube videos of people playing it only at the time of the game’s relaunch back in 2016 with me trying to click on the links to the game when i first tried to play it awhile back but from what i remember it wouldn’t work? idek if this is lost media but if it isnt and anyone has a link to the browser game lemme know please ^^
It also had a link to the game, but all that came up was a black screen with the text ゲームが見つかりません, which according to Google translate means "game not found." AT least we have a link though.

yes that one tyvm! destructoid also made a similar article discussing the game when it came out which also shares the same link and images from sliliconeras article
idk if this game could be played anymore especially with the “game not found” message but i honestly hope someone saved its files or even could? im not a tech savvy person so i dont know well if this kind of stuff is easy to save

Honestly, I don't know much about game lost media either. I do know that when it comes to lost games they are very hard to find. Our best bet it to spread the word, and we also should make a thread about it.

Very much so especially as since the game itself was a total flop it made many people care little about some of the things that came of it like this and also the possibly cancelled 3ds game of mighty no. 9 to where now it’s potentially lost for good I appreciate the help here and hoping more see this thread for some help to save this small browser game ^^

Hey, I know it's been awhile, but I've finally got around to writing an article. I'll put it up soon! This is what ive got. Oh and I found out the official name is Mighty no. 9: Go For It! Beck!
Mighty no. 9: Go For It! Beck! (lost browser game; 2015)
Mighty no. 9 was a platformer released on June 21, 2016. The game was crowdfunded by Kickstarter and was meant to be a spiritual successor since the writer of the game Keiji Inafune formerly worked on Mega Man. The game was panned, constantly delayed, and has become infamous in the world of gaming.
== Browser Game ==
When Mighty no. 9 was delayed into 2016, Comcept commissioned Neos Corporation, and Yahoo Japan released a browser version to help ease the fanbase. The game was released on September 15, 2015.
== Gameplay ==
The game was made in the HTLM5 programming language, & and the way it works is you play as Beck and you press your mouse once to jump, and twice to double jump. Beck automatically shoots, and he can't move from left to right. You have Three hearts, if you get hit Three times you lose. It's not known the longevity of the game, but the pictures show Three different bosses. A fire boss, a lightning boss, as well as a water, and ice boss.
== Availability ==
Sometime after being put up the game got deleted. The reporting websites have links to the game but it isn't secure, if you can get past it its just white Japanese text against a black background reading ゲームが見つかりません (game not found in English.) A playable version of the game has never resurfaced.

I'm glad you liked it. I also wanted to let you know that I put the gane link into the wayback machine, but when I went to all of them there was nothing. Here's the link to the posted article.
