NEW INFORMATION: It is indeed a RG Mitchell ride, though it's unclear which one, was they've made hundreds of rides and repaints
Hello friends. I've come across a memory that is both happy and traumatic and I want more information about this thing, so allow me to go into detail. Throughout most of my childhood the local Walmart that we go to had an arcade area with games and a ride or two, which would be switched out from time to time. Though through all the switching and flip flopping, one ride always stayed, even when the arcade closed they kept it but a few years ago they finally got rid of it and I haven't been able to find it since. It was a blue car (with a top) which could fit 2 people in it and rocked back and forth, which was fun, me and my brother liked it a lot, though what I didn't like about it was that as a random sound effect to get the attention of kids to beg their parents to let them ride it, it laughed. This was fine when it was in an arcade with lots of noise but just it being alone in an empty room and still laughing every minute began to scare me. I want to look this up as I am very interested in learning more about said ride but I cannot find any information about it anywhere no matter what keywords I use it's literally just gone. Y'all think you can help?
It looks like it was one of those car rides, specially a yogi bear themed one. When I looked it up real quick I was able to find others with the simple search kiddie car ride If you put kiddie or little kid in a search before car or car ride I’m sure you could eventually find that specific one

Googling those terms and similar, I've found one that looks slightly similar called "huggy bear" (general, depends on where you're looking) but it's not the same. I'm gonna look more into huggy bear and see if I can find the company behind it (R.G Mitchell, who makes a good chunk of the rides from our childhood) to see if by chance they made the one I'm thinking of. I tried reverse image searching and all I got were more pictures of huggy
Ok ok big stuff. I can now confirm that it is in fact RG Mitchell as this is the exact laugh track that was used. So we do know who made it, we just have to find the ride itself

That’s awesome To narrow it down further, do you remember around when it was put in the Walmart? Or if it’s been there your whole life, did it look new or older when you were little

Yeah from my memory it's been there my whole life until about when coronavirus happened. It's basically been there throughout the whole 2010's but probably placed there much earlier than that

Yoo?!!?! It's definitely not the same colors but yeah I'm pretty sure that is the same thing
Maybe the specific one you’re thinking of was a repaint/recolored version?? I also saw RG Mitchell went out of buisness in 2006, so it could be it was originally that ride, and whoever bought the assets to RG Mitchell decided to revamp the old ride with a new coat of paint?
