So far, I ain't seeing any viruses going around or some crap.

Problems:
1. That would be a bit too large in the tiny space of my room
2. I could get scammed for trying to buy one
3. High memory cards exist & I could also get scammed for trying to buy one

What are you talking about?
1) Hard Drives are smaller than a phone for portable ones under 5Tb and the size of a Wii for larger
2) Buy from a normal store and you CANT get scammed, Amazon/ Best Buy/Walmart/etc...
3) Yes they exist but they arent as fast and are much more expensive
