So. I made a page about this a little while ago (Clue. It sucked ass). But i wanted to make a thread because. Why not?
So, if you don't know about Christine Chubbuck, i'mma drop some context on you. So, in the 70's there was this show called "Suncoast Digest" presented by a woman called Christine Chubbuck. The program ran from 1972 to 1974. When Christine Chubbuck blew the brains out of her head live. Obviously, the tape of her suicide wasn't and will never be released. But also, we don't have anything of Suncoast Digest. The only footage remaining of the show is a 21 minute clip that belongs to Steve Newman (Former weatherman). A snippet of the 21 minute clip was shown on the indie film "Kate plays christine". Steve doesn't want to release the tape because in his own words "People just care about her because of her suicide". So, mi idea is. Put some pressure on him. Make change.org petitions. Basically just let him know that we want to see that tape. Who's with me?
