My previous thread about this was back when I was a bit immature about things. I have actually made progress this time, and I wish to have the old thread deleted.
The search for the third Toonami Total Immersion Event game, Trapped in Hyperspace, has gone cold. A few weeks ago, I met Wiiplay123 on Discord. He discovered something new in toon.dcr: "i.cartoonnetwork.com/toon/xtra/Groove.dcr", which means it's looking for the 3D Groove plugin. After hearing about Wiiplay's previous exploits with finding Wonka games, we came to a conclusion that Pepworks must have an FTP server that stores all their games, including Trapped in Hyperspace, Middleton Mayhem, and Pringles Pony Express. Sadly, when I tried looking for the server, I learned that they required a password.
My question about the game to Jason DeMarco and Gill Austin on Toonami Pre-Flight didn't get answered, so I tweeted all the people involved with Toonami (Jason, Gill, Sean Akins, Dana Swanson) about it, as well as Pepworks' Twitter account which hadn't been updated since 2014.
Jules Urbach told me he might have some stuff in storage - I'm sure you may know about that.
But the biggest mystery is Pepworks themselves. They're like Reagal Films from the ADWSS days. No one knows where they're located, their IP address seems to change around a lot, they haven't updated their website since 2014, and even CEO Patrick Thiel hasn't done anything on any of his social media accounts since then aside from changing his Facebook background last February. When I tried calling the company's number, I got "The number you have dialed is not in service", even when I put 011 in front of it. Something similar happened when you tried calling Reagal. I entered their address in Google Earth and it took me to a suburban area full of houses. Maybe that's Patrick Thiel's house? Keek said he could drive there this week as Poland and Germany are close to each other. But if it is Thiel's house, we're not gonna run in screaming about Toonami. I still haven't sent my letter, but I did start a petition to get Cartoon Network to ask Pepworks for the game. The game fills in the plotholes the on air portion had as well as completing the holy trinity of TIE games. I also contacted Alshoff via Toonzone conversation asking him if he'd like to join the LMW. Haven't got an answer yet.
I know you may still be mad at me for what I did but I'm improving. Going nuts over an old flash game that came out the week before I was born is typical LMW fare. (I have never played it!)
I still hope someone can offer to drive to CN's headquarters in Atlanta, though...
